Whitney Ruzzi es una artista nacida en Bélgica (1990) con raíces italianas.

Siempre ha sido una "observadora de vida". Observar personas, animales y naturaleza le dio un mejor entendimiento de la complejidad y la simplicidad de la vida.

Absorber esta energía la hizo más sensitiva y protectora y le dio el deseo de querer crear. Es en este deseo donde empezó a buscar diferentes formas de expresarse a ella misma a través de distintas formas de arte, como han sido el cine, la pintura y la música.

Tras años de explorar y crear, Whitney decidió convertir su amor por el arte en su profesión.

CARA COLLECTION - una serie de hermosas imperfecciones del alma - fue su primera colección y exposición en solitario (2018). Estos coloridos y abstractos retratos son reflejos del lado más crudo y visceral de nuestro ser, y tienen el objetivo de hacernos abrazar nuestras propias imperfecciones.

Después de su primera exposición en solitario, la necesidad de explorar la conexión entre lo espiritual y la tierra desencadena su decisión de trasladarse a Mallorca. Whitney quería conectar de forma más profunda con aquello que más le inspira: La naturaleza.

La maravillosa isla fue la fuente de inspiración para una segunda colección: TARA COLLECTION (2020). Una cruzada para hacer que las personas nos volvamos a enamorar de la Madre Naturaleza. Éste es el factor común que comparten sus obras: Una interpretación artística creativa y personal de la unión entre el ser humano y la naturaleza.

 Actualmente Whitney reside en Mallorca (España). Su primera exposición en solitario en la isla tratará sobre su relación con un viejo amigo: el mar. "CARTAS DE AMOR AL MAR" es un homenaje. Una historia de cómo su pasión por coleccionar objetos encontrados en la arena se transformó y encontró un camino en su trabajo.

 Whitney Ruzzi is an artist born in Belgium (1990) with Italian roots. 

 She has always been an observer of life. Watching people, animals and nature gave her a better understanding of the complexity, and simplicity of life.  

Taking in this energy made her sensitive and caring and gave her the desire to create. It is in this desire she started to look for ways to express herself through different artistic forms, such as cinema, painting and music.

After years of creating and exploring, Whitney chose to turn her love for the arts into a profession. 

The CARA COLLECTION - a series of beautiful imperfections of the soul - was her first collection and solo expo (2018). These colorful abstract portraits are reflections of the raw inner self, with the goal to encourage people´s imperfections. 

 After her first solo expo, the urge to explore the connection between spirits and the earth triggers her to travel to Mallorca. She wanted to connect on a deeper level with what inspires her the most: nature. 

The beautiful island gave her the inspiration for a second solo exhibition: the TARA COLLECTION (2020). A venture to make people fall in love again with Mother nature. This is the common thread in her artworks: an own artistic and creative interpretation of the fusion between mankind and nature.

 At present, Whitney moved to Mallorca, Spain. Her first solo expo on the island will be about her relationship with a very old friend; the sea. "LOVE LETTERS TO THE SEA" is a homage, a story of how her passion of collecting items at the beach transformed its way into her work.
